Following the completion of his residency, he elected to further specialize in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Alsubaie was subsequently invited to join one of the top Aesthetic Fellowship Programs in the country (the prestigious Joseph P. Hunstad Aesthetic Fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina). Dr.Hunstad is one of the pioneers of aesthetic plastic surgery and considered to be the father of liposuction and body contouring surgeries. He has also developed the foundational textbooks for abdominoplasty techniques (tummy tuck ) for plastic surgeons nationally and internationally. During his fellowship, Dr. Alsubaie published new techniques in aesthetic plastic surgery which have been widely adapted by plastic surgeons all over the world.

In his spare time, Dr.Saad Alsubaie enjoys listening to music, cooking, writing poetry, taking walks in nature with his dog Grizzly, traveling to lesser-known beaches, playing air guitar, and making people laugh.
